More Major Wins and Strong Sales at Lotto Thuringia - Lotto Thuringia’s 2025 jackpots hit €87.9M with record digital growth

Lotto Thuringia reported robust financial results for 2025, with total winnings reaching nearly €87.9 million. The company also directed a significant portion of its revenue—around €58.4 million—toward public welfare projects across the region. Despite a slight dip from 2024’s record, overall earnings remained strong at approximately €184.1 million.

The year saw several major wins, including a €15.3 million jackpot shared by a Thuringian and a Hessian player. Thuringia alone produced five new lottery millionaires, a notable increase from previous years. In total, the region awarded 28 large prizes exceeding €100,000, setting a new record.

News of digital sales played a key role in growth, with online ticket revenue rising by 10.3% compared to 2024. Investments in digital platforms and retail expansion also boosted performance. Since April 2025, Lotto Thuringia has offered extra financial support to new retail outlets, increasing commissions for sellers. A new lottery game, GlücksRakete, launched in October 2025, contributed to the year’s success. Multiple high-value wins, including a €15 million-plus prize in March, further drove interest in both Eurojackpot and Lotto 6aus49 draws.

Lotto Thuringia’s 2025 figures highlight a year of significant payouts and community contributions. With expanded digital services, retailer incentives, and new games, the organisation maintained strong revenue despite a minor decline from 2024. The region’s lottery players benefited from more frequent large wins and increased opportunities to participate.
