Local councils in Kastel, Sonnenberg, Nordenstadt, and Igstadt to hold key meetings next week

Next week, local district councils in Kastel, Sonnenberg, Nordenstadt, and Igstadt will hold their meetings. Residents are invited to attend and participate in discussions on various topics affecting their communities.

Kicking off the week, the Igstadt District Council will meet on Monday, November 17, at 6:00 PM. The agenda includes discussing the planning agreement for the replacement construction of the Susannastraße railway overpass and an update to the parking space bylaw.

On Tuesday, November 18, the Kastel District Council will gather at 7:00 PM to delve into residential development, student housing, an urban art gallery, and faction motions on diverse subjects. Meanwhile, the Sonnenberg District Council will also meet on the same day and time to tackle updates to the parking space bylaw, adjustments to street cleaning fees, and faction motions on parking, school route safety, and the renovation of the Bürgerhaus Sonnenberg. Notably, there will be no public events in the Fachkammern of the city administrations in Kastel and Sonnenberg on this day.

The following day, on Wednesday, November 19, the Nordenstadt District Council will convene at 7:00 PM. The council will discuss public feedback on the redesign of Breckenheimer Weg playground, updates to the parking space bylaw, adjustments to street cleaning fees, and faction motions on drinking water supply, additional passenger shelters, and lighting along Westring.

With these meetings, local authorities aim to engage residents in decision-making processes, ensuring that community needs and concerns are addressed. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussions.
