Liberty Specialty Markets Names Michael Harth as New Germany Chief
Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has appointed Michael Harth as its new Germany chief, effective January. Harth, who previously led Axa XL's European brokerage business, succeeds Angelika Gasser. Gasser will serve as interim chief until year-end and then become Harth's deputy.
Harth brings over 15 years of experience in the insurance and brokerage industry to his new role. He will lead the German LSM team from the Cologne office, reporting to Kadidja Sinz. Gasser, who has been managing the German LSM operations, will take on the position of Managing Director and support Harth as his deputy starting at the end of the year.
Michael Harth's appointment signals a strategic move for LSM in Germany, leveraging his extensive industry experience. Angelika Gasser's continued involvement ensures a smooth transition and consistent leadership.
