Latvia's Eurobond Issue a Huge Success with 90 European Investors
Latvia has successfully issued Eurobonds, attracting 90 investors from across Europe. Lead banks for the issue were BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, and JP Morgan. The Finance Minister, Arvils Ašeradens, hailed the event as a return to international capital markets.
The bonds, with a yield of 2.971% and a fixed coupon rate of 2.875%, drew significant interest. Despite the names of investors remaining confidential, demand was more than triple the amount sold, topping EUR 3 billion. This overwhelming response signals strong confidence in Latvia's financial stability and economic prospects.
