On October 27, 2025, Lappersdorf Gymnasium's auditorium hosted an eye-opening event aimed at raising awareness about scams. The cabaret show 'Ned mit mir!', performed by Tom Bauer and Police Chief Master Sergeant Matthias Bräutigam, involved local dignitaries and residents as 'victims' in mock scams, drawing laughter while highlighting a serious issue. The event was organized by the Regensburg District Office and other local entities, with financial support from Sparkasse Regensburg.

The show demonstrated how easily people can fall prey to fraudsters, using real-life examples to illustrate common scams. Among the 'victims' were Lappersdorf’s Third Deputy Mayor Christa Wunderer and Stefan Steinkirchner. The performance was part of a wider effort to combat scams, which caused over €1.5 million in damages across the Upper Palatinate region in 2024.

After the show, Chief Criminal Inspector Siegfried Ebneth and Police Chief Inspector Thomas Eichinger were present to answer technical questions. Bauer and Bräutigam shared practical advice to help attendees guard against future scams. The event was organized in collaboration with Lappersdorf Neighborhood Assistance, Oberpfalz-Police Headquarters, and the Regenstauf Police Station. Notably, on the same day, a student parliament meeting and an event at the vhs-Zentrum focused on conspiracy myths and antisemitism also took place in the town.
