Landrat Praises Ludwig Rieder's Sustainable Expansion
On June 11, 2025, Landrat Peter Dreier, along with Ludwig GΓΆtz and Werner Klanikow, visited Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG in Bayerbach. The company, founded over 140 years ago, is a prominent regional provider in heating, sanitation, and civil engineering, employing around 150 people.
The visit centred around the newly constructed green building for the civil engineering department. This sustainable timber frame building also serves as an energy centre, providing heat to approximately 40 households via a dedicated district heating network. This environmentally friendly initiative demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainability.
Landrat Dreier commended the company's diverse range of services, stable order situation, and strong employee loyalty. As a token of recognition, he presented a small gift to managing director Christian Rieder.
