Lamerdingen raises daycare fees by 4% starting September 2025

Childcare fees in Lamerdingen are set to rise by four percent from September 2025. The increase follows the municipality's takeover of the St. Martin daycare centre. Officials say the adjustment will help cover growing personnel costs.

The local council has taken over operations of the St. Martin daycare centre starting this September. While no records exist of previous fees before the transition, the administration has confirmed a modest fee increase for parents.

The council argues that annual adjustments are necessary to manage rising expenses. Despite the change, the existing system for care, booking, and fee structures will remain unchanged. Authorities have stressed that the four percent rise is intended to maintain service quality without overburdening families.

The new fee structure will apply from September 2025. Parents will pay slightly more, but the daycare's operations and booking process will stay the same. The council maintains that the adjustment is a measured response to financial pressures.
