Kurt-Tucholsky-Straße shuts down for three weeks of pipeline upgrades

Kurt-Tucholsky-Straße in Schierstein will be closed to vehicular traffic from Monday, November 17, until Saturday, December 6. Die ESWE Versorgung is carrying out gas and water pipeline construction in the area, expected to last until December 6.

Residents are advised to use Wilhelm-Busch-Straße as an alternative route during the closure. The construction work will not affect pedestrians, who can continue using their usual paths. The closure is necessary for the utility company to safely carry out the necessary repairs and upgrades to the underground infrastructure.

Motorists are urged to plan their routes accordingly and follow the diversion signs. Pedestrians can continue their daily routines without disruption. The project is expected to be completed by Saturday, December 6, 2025.
