Krasnodar’s Safe City system unifies emergency response across the region
The Krasnodar Regional Legislative Assembly recently reviewed the progress of the Safe City system during a meeting led by Yuri Burlachko. The initiative aims to improve public safety by merging multiple emergency and threat detection platforms into one unified network. Lawmakers discussed completed work and future plans for expanding the programme across the region.
The first phase of the Safe City rollout wrapped up this year. It included setting up unified emergency response centres in Krasnodar and Sochi, bringing together existing public safety systems under a single interface. Local authorities and law enforcement in both cities now have full access to the platform.
The Safe City system has already gone live in Krasnodar and Sochi, with further expansions planned along the coast. Over the next three years, the programme will extend to all remaining municipalities in the region. The transition to domestic software and the integration of multiple safety systems mark key milestones in the initiative’s development.
