Krasnodar Krai overhauls budget rules to align with new regional law

Krasnodar Krai’s Ministry of Finance has released a draft order to update budget procedures. The proposed changes focus on aligning financial rules with a new regional law. Though only the preamble is altered, the revisions will impact the entire budget system.

The draft, titled On Amending the Order of the Ministry of Finance of Krasnodar Krai, was overseen by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. Its main purpose is to remove legal inconsistencies and create a unified framework for all budget agencies.

The amendments will standardise budget processes across the region. Official publication is still pending, but the changes are set to take effect in less than two years. All relevant agencies will then operate under the revised legal framework.
