Komi Proposes Fixed Housing Rates to Support Growing Families by 2025
The Republic of Komi is contemplating a new measure to assist young families and those with multiple children in the housing market. A draft proposal suggests establishing a fixed rate per square meter of residential space, with public discourse open until November 10, 2025.
Eligible recipients include families who have had a second or subsequent child since 2010, for home construction, purchase, or mortgage repayment. The Ministry of Construction has set the housing cost for the fourth quarter of 2025 at 88,900 rubles per square meter. The draft proposal suggests a lower average market price of 88,938 rubles for Syktyvkar, Ukhta, and the Syktyvdin District. Municipalities in the Arctic Zone have a set housing cost of 117,560 rubles per square meter.
