Knifepoint robbery in Frankfurt ends with suspects detained at scene

A 35-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint in Frankfurt early on January 29, 2025. The attack happened on Hanauer Landstraße around 6:30 a.m., leaving the victim without his smartphone. Police quickly detained two suspects at the scene.

The victim was approached by two men who threatened him before snatching his phone. After the 'old' robbery, the 18-year-old suspect reportedly tried to return the stolen device. The victim then spoke to officers, confirming the incident once he saw the suspects in custody.
