Knife-Wielding Robber Attacks Arcade Employee in Bad Hersfeld
A robbery took place at an arcade on DudenstraĆe in Bad Hersfeld early on Wednesday, January 28. The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m., when an unknown man entered the premises and threatened an employee navigator. Police are now searching for the suspect, who remains at large.
The assailant, dressed in black and with his face concealed, approached the register and demanded cash. He sprayed an irritant at the female employee and brandished a knife before taking several hundred euros. The woman, who suffered minor injuries from the irritant, managed to retreat and immediately alerted the police.
The suspect, described as a slim male, fled the scene in an unknown direction. Authorities have not yet linked the incident to any wider pattern of similar crimes in the region. A previous isolated case in Wetzlar involved a man fleeing into a gaming hall during an attack, but no injuries were reported there.
