Knife attack in Frankfurt leaves two injured after domestic dispute escalates

A violent domestic dispute broke out in Frankfurt early on Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025. The altercation between a 48-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman escalated into a knife attack on Haardtwaldstraße, leaving both injured. Police arrived at the scene and arrested the pair shortly after 7:00 a.m.

The incident began inside the couple's former shared apartment. A heated argument turned physical, and the confrontation soon moved outside. During the struggle, the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed the man.

The victim suffered superficial wounds but was not in life-threatening danger. The woman also sustained injuries during the altercation. Officers recovered the weapon at the scene and secured it as evidence.

Both individuals were taken into custody by responding officers. Authorities have not yet released further details on the investigation or any prior history of domestic violence between the two.
