Knife Attack at Frankfurt Call Centre Leaves One Worker Injured

A violent dispute erupted between two coworkers at a call centre near Frankfurt Central Station on Sunday evening. The incident on November 30, 2025, left one employee injured and the other in police custody. Authorities responded swiftly after reports of a knife attack inside the building.

The confrontation began when a 33-year-old man accused his 34-year-old colleague of harming his mother. During the argument, he pulled out a knife and attempted to stab the victim, causing a minor leg injury. The attacker also threatened to set his colleague’s apartment ablaze.

Police arrived shortly after and found the 33-year-old outside the call centre. He had injured his own hand during the struggle. Officers took him into custody without further resistance.

Following the arrest, the suspect was transferred to a psychiatric facility for evaluation. Prosecutors have since charged him with aggravated assault. The name of the 33-year-old has not been released in official reports.

The victim received treatment for a minor leg wound but did not require hospitalisation. The suspect remains in custody, with legal proceedings expected to follow. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack.
