King Charles and Prince William Advised to Take Hard Line on Prince Harry, Andrew, and Ferguson

King Charles III and Prince William are advised to adopt a firm stance regarding a potential meeting with Prince Harry, according to royal historian Marlene Koenig. The warning comes amidst concerns that any such encounter could reignite old wounds. Meanwhile, both father and son are said to want Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson out of the spotlight due to their links with Jeffrey Epstein.

In early September 2025, before the WellChild Awards, Koenig issued a warning to the King and Prince William. She suggested that any meeting with Prince Harry should be on King Charles' terms to avoid reopening old disputes. This advice comes as Prince William reportedly wants Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson 'banished' or 'kept out of sight, out of mind' due to their association with Epstein.

King Charles is said to share his son's sentiments. A friend of the King revealed that he also wants Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew to stay out of the spotlight. The royal family fears that the scandal will continue to cause long-term damage to the monarchy if Andrew and Sarah remain visible with them. This stance marks a shift from King Charles' previous 'soft, kid-gloves approach', which has been deemed ineffective.

Royal expert Helena Chard has also warned King Charles and Prince William about the ongoing Sarah Ferguson scandal, echoing the need for a firmer approach.

King Charles III and Prince William are advised to take a hard-line stance in their dealings with Prince Harry and to keep Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson out of the spotlight. The aim is to prevent the Epstein scandal from causing further damage to the monarchy.
