Kentucky Lottery Names Maggie Garrison as New President After Record Sales

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has named Maggie Garrison as the new president of the Kentucky Lottery Corp. She takes over from Mary Harville, who became the first woman to lead the organization. The appointment comes after the lottery reported record-breaking sales for the 12th year in a row.

Maggie Garrison has worked at the Kentucky Lottery Corp. since 2011, holding multiple leadership roles. Before becoming Chief Revenue Officer, she served as vice president and Chief Financial Officer. Her promotion in 2023 reflected the board’s trust in her experience and vision.

The Kentucky Lottery Corp. continues its streak of financial success, with Garrison now at the helm. Her long tenure and leadership experience position her to guide the corporation through future challenges. The funds generated will keep supporting education initiatives across the state.
