The image shows a bus stop on the side of a city street, with buildings on either side. At the bottom of the image, there is a road, and on the right side of the picture, there are red and yellow boards with text written on them. In the middle of the road, there appears to be a dustbin, and there are a few people walking on the footpath. On the left side, there seems to be an escalator.

Kassel's Scheffelstraße bus stop relocates for four weeks due to construction

A key bus stop in Kassel will move temporarily from March 26 to April 24. The 'Scheffelstraße' stop, heading towards Dürerplatz, is being relocated due to scaffolding work along Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring. Passengers on four routes will need to adjust their journeys during this time. The change affects bus lines 1, 3, 8, and 33. Instead of stopping near number 76, buses will pick up and drop off passengers outside number 72. ESWE Verkehr has confirmed that all services will run as usual, but with this short detour in place.

The temporary move comes as scaffolding is installed along Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring. While the exact duration of the construction remains unclear, the bus stop relocation is set to last until April 24. Authorities have advised travellers to plan ahead, especially during busy commuting times. ESWE Verkehr recommends checking routes before travelling. Extra time should be allowed for journeys, as the detour may cause minor delays. The company has stressed that no further disruptions are expected beyond the stop's relocation.

The temporary stop at number 72 will remain in use until April 24. Lines 1, 3, 8, and 33 will continue their regular schedules, but passengers must board at the new location. Updates on any further changes will be provided by ESWE Verkehr as needed.
