Kassel-Mitte:
A 46-year-old man from Kassel, who was already being sought by the police for sexually harassing a 17-year-old girl, drew attention to himself on Tuesday afternoon near the Kasseler Police Headquarters by shouting banned slogans and thus ensuring his arrest. A duty policeman heard several loud 'Sieg Heil' shouts around noon from the area of the staircase between Ottostrasse and the main station through the open window of an office. Upon looking out the window, he recognized the man who was still repeating the banned slogans as the unknown perpetrator of an internal police photo search, whom a camera had recorded a few days earlier at a tram stop at the Wilhelmshoehe station after the sexual harassment of the teenager. The duty policeman immediately alerted his colleagues from the Mitte police station, who were able to apprehend the 46-year-old at the main station. The detainee, who was significantly under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol test of 1.9 per mille, was taken to the station for further measures. He now has to answer to both the sexual offense and the use of unconstitutional organization symbols. The investigation against him continues.
