Jörg Siebert Honored for Decades of Economic Leadership in Offenbach
Jörg Siebert, owner of a long-standing label manufacturing company in Offenbach, has received the IHK Medal of Merit in Silver. The award honours his decades of voluntary work and significant contributions to the local economy. Kirsten Schoder-Steinmüller, President of the Offenbach am Main Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), presented the distinction at the IHK General Assembly on December 7, 2023.
Siebert’s involvement with the IHK began in 1989 through the Offenbach am Main Junior Chamber (Wirtschaftsjunioren). Since 1996, he has served as a member of the IHK General Assembly and the Budget Committee, where his analytical skills helped shape the organisation’s finances. From 2010 to 2024, he chaired the Budget Committee, further solidifying his influence.
Beyond financial oversight, Siebert has held a voluntary position as a judge at the Hesse Fiscal Court in Kassel since 2006. His regional engagement extends to sports, particularly his long-term support for the Offenbach Kickers football club. He is also a member of the Großes Colleg Offenbach, a respected local institution. During the ceremony, Schoder-Steinmüller thanked all IHK volunteers for their dedication. She highlighted their essential role in addressing challenges and advancing the interests of businesses and the wider region.
The silver medal recognises Siebert’s sustained commitment to Offenbach’s economic and social life. His work spans financial leadership, legal service, and community support. The award reflects both his professional impact and his long-standing voluntary contributions.
