Join October 30 Crime & Traffic Prevention Event at Rüsselsheim Train Station
On October 30, 2025, from 11:00 to 14:00, a joint prevention event will take place at Rüsselsheim train station square. Organized by the Federal Police, State Police, Rüsselsheim City Police, and DB Security, the event aims to inform citizens about crime and traffic prevention, with a focus on bicycle and e-scooter security. Several information booths will be set up to cover key topics, including KOMPASS and KOMPASS Bahnhof, Leon-Hilfe-Inseln, Sicherheitsportal Hessen, Aktion Tu Was, pickpocketing and trickery, bicycle theft, and burglary prevention. Attendees can engage in conversation with security authorities and learn from officers. To ensure a smooth process, attendees should have personal and bicycle/E-scooter data ready. This includes an identification document and proof of ownership. E-bike and pedelec owners should bring their battery keys. It's important to note that carbon bicycles cannot be coded. A bicycle coding service will be offered to secure bicycles and receive theft prevention tips. This service also applies to e-scooters, which are increasingly targeted by criminals. The event provides an opportunity to ask experts directly about specific safety measures at the station and in public spaces. Led by key figures such as Christian Vögele, the Police President of Südhessen, the event is a collaborative effort to empower citizens with knowledge and tools to prevent crime and ensure safety. Mark your calendars for October 30, 2025, and join the prevention event at Rüsselsheim train station square.
