Isenburger Schneise closure extended by two more weeks amid bridge delays

The closure of Isenburger Schneise has been extended by another two weeks, now likely lasting until Friday, May 17. The delay stems from ongoing construction challenges on a nearby bridge for the Regionaltangente West project. The road will remain a one-way route towards Neu-Isenburg during the closure. Drivers coming from Neu-Isenburg can still reach the Isenburger Schneise parking lot but will be unable to travel beyond that point. The prolonged closure means drivers and commuters must continue using detours for at least two more weeks. Officials have yet to confirm a definitive reopening date or clarify responsibility for the construction hold-up.
