Iranian nationals in Germany show strong employment and education levels compared to other immigrant groups. Over half of working-age Iranians hold jobs, with many securing skilled positions. Their qualifications and earnings also stand out in recent data.

Official figures reveal that 58.6% of Iranian nationals in Germany are employed, a rate higher than that of Afghan, Iraqi, and Syrian communities. Among Iranian women, 41% have jobs, slightly above the 39% average for other immigrant women.

Education plays a key role in their workforce success. A notable 43.3% of employed Iranians hold university degrees, nearly double the 19.5% rate among other foreign workers. This educational advantage translates into career opportunities, with around 73% working as skilled professionals. Their earnings also reflect this trend. Iranian workers typically earn more than the average for people with immigrant backgrounds, reinforcing their position in the German labour market.

The data highlights the economic integration of Iranian nationals in Germany. Their high employment rates, strong educational qualifications, and skilled occupations set them apart from many other immigrant groups. These factors contribute to their above-average earnings and professional standing.
