A full road closure will take place in Marburg’s Cappel district from December 17 to December 19. The affected area is 'Im Lichtenholz' at its junction with Bruderweg and Hangstraße, including the sidewalk.

The closure comes as crane operations are scheduled along the street. Both drivers and pedestrians will need to follow a diversion route via Hangstraße and Paul-Natorp-Straße. Public transport services, however, will continue to run as normal.

During the work, the section leading to the construction site will remain open only as a dead-end street. Authorities have not yet named the company responsible for the crane operations.

The three-day shutdown will restrict access to 'Im Lichtenholz' entirely. Residents and commuters should plan alternative routes during this period. The city has confirmed that buses and trams will not face any disruptions.
