Multiple slippery road accidents in Central Hesse in the morning - Icy roads trigger multiple crashes across Central Hesse

Icy roads led to several accidents in Central Hesse on Wednesday morning. Multiple vehicles were damaged, and at least three people suffered injuries in separate incidents.

Police reported a series of collisions across the region, with slippery conditions blamed for the crashes.

The first accident happened near Siegbach-Tringenstein, where two cars collided. One person was injured and required medical attention.

A second incident took place in Eisemroth, where a car skidded into an empty bus. Two people were hurt in this crash. Further accidents were recorded near Angelburg and Gladenbach. These involved only vehicle damage, with no reports of injuries. Authorities warned drivers about hazardous road conditions due to snow and ice. A police spokeswoman confirmed the incidents but was not named in the reports.

The accidents caused traffic delays and minor injuries. Emergency services responded to each scene, and police urged caution on winter roads. Drivers were advised to reduce speed and allow extra travel time.
