HUDCO approves Rs 46,000 crore in loans amid fiscal year growth surge
Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has reported robust financial activity in the current fiscal year. During the third quarter alone, the company sanctioned loans worth over Rs 46,000 crore. Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Kulshrestha oversaw these developments as part of the organization's ongoing growth.
From October to December 2025, HUDCO approved loans totalling more than Rs 46,000 crore. This figure forms part of a broader trend, with cumulative sanctions from April to December reaching Rs 1,39,151.92 crore.
Loan disbursements also saw significant movement in the same period. In the third quarter, HUDCO released Rs 15,508.25 crore to borrowers. Over the first nine months of the fiscal year, total disbursements climbed to Rs 41,346.70 crore. The figures reflect HUDCO's expanded role in financing housing and urban infrastructure projects. Under Kulshrestha's leadership, the corporation has maintained steady lending activity, supporting development initiatives across the country.
