Hotel Lindenhof Welcomes New Owners After 26 Years of Tradition

The Hotel Lindenhof in Rödermark, Hesse, has changed hands after 26 years under Stefanie Gotta’s leadership. The Malhotra family now takes over the well-known establishment, which includes rooms, a holiday apartment, and a restaurant with terrace. Local officials have already welcomed the new operators, signalling strong community backing.

Stefanie Gotta recently passed the hotel’s management to the Malhotra family. She will stay on part-time during the transition to help with the handover. The family—Harsh Kumar Malhotra, his wife Shalini, and their children Aarush and Riddhi—will run the business together.

The Malhotras bring experience from hospitality and an Asian grocery wholesale trade. They plan to keep the hotel’s core services, including overnight stays, event hosting, and dining. Future updates could introduce themed evenings with Indian dishes or a broader seafood menu. Mayor Jörg Rotter and Till Andrießen visited the hotel to mark the ownership change. Local authorities have stressed the hotel’s importance to Rödermark’s hospitality scene. The 13 double rooms, 8 single rooms, holiday apartment, and terrace restaurant will remain central to its operations.

The Hotel Lindenhof continues as a key part of Rödermark’s offerings under new leadership. The Malhotra family’s plans include maintaining existing services while exploring fresh dining options. With support from local officials and a smooth transition underway, the hotel is set to keep serving guests as before.
