Honda CR-V Owners Can Now Register Vehicles Online 24/7
Private customers can now register their Honda CRV vehicles online at any time, thanks to a new service from PremiumZulasser Cooperative. The platform, called Vehicle Registration 24/7, promises to cut out long queues at local licensing offices. CEO Florian Cichon compared the process to shopping on Amazon for its simplicity and ease of use.
The service operates around the clock and works on any device. Users start by providing essential details, then submit further information later via a dedicated landing page. Interactive info boxes and video guides help customers complete each step quickly and without errors.
In 2023, Germany saw 5.5 million online vehicle registrations, but 90% of transactions still took place in person. PremiumZulasser handled 25% of those online registrations—around 1.375 million cases. The cooperative now aims to grow its private customer base from under 5% to over 15% in the coming years.
The two-step ordering system is designed to streamline the process. By breaking it into manageable parts, the platform reduces complexity for users. The goal is to make vehicle registration as straightforward as possible.
The launch of Vehicle Registration 24/7 removes the need for in-person visits to licensing offices. PremiumZulasser expects the service to attract more private customers over time. If successful, it could shift a larger share of registrations from physical locations to online platforms.
