Homicide Probe Launched After Man’s Body Found Near Mümling-Grumbach

A 30-year-old man was found dead near his vehicle on the outskirts of Mümling-Grumbach on Tuesday afternoon. Police have launched a homicide investigation after initial findings suggested foul play.

The body was discovered on December 9, prompting authorities to treat the case as a suspected homicide. In response, the South Hesse Police Headquarters established a dedicated task force, codenamed 'Forest'. Over 30 officers are now working on the investigation in coordination with the Staatsanwaltschaft Darmstadt.
