Hofheim police uncover wanted suspect and multiple crimes in mobile checks

West Hesse Police Headquarters has issued contact details for press inquiries. Meanwhile, police in Hofheim conducted mobile checks due to the darker months, leading to the identification of a wanted suspect and several incidents, including a cyclist injury and a pickpocketing case.

On Wednesday and Thursday, November 5-6, 2025, police in Hofheim carried out mobile checks. During these checks, a van driver was identified as being wanted by prosecutors for address verification. In a separate incident, a cyclist was slightly injured in Eschborn around 9:00 AM on November 5, 2025, after being sideswiped by a VW Touran driver.

In Kriftel, a pickpocket stole a wallet from a man around 11:00 AM on the same day. The suspect is described as approximately 1.60 meters tall, around 60 years old, heavyset, and of 'southern' appearance. He approached the victim in a parking lot, pointed out a stain on his jacket, and stole the wallet while helping him remove it. Police encourage the public to report any suspicious or unusual observations related to burglaries via the emergency number 110. During the checks, an e-scooter rider was found to be under the influence of intoxicants and required to provide a blood sample.
