Hofheim, Flörsheim, Kriftel Hit by Weekend Crime Spree; Police Seek Two Suspects
A series of incidents occurred in Hofheim, Flörsheim, and Kriftel over the weekend, involving assaults, robberies, and thefts. Police are seeking information about two suspects with similar descriptions.
On Friday, October 17, a 35-year-old Hofheim resident was assaulted at a gas station on Elisabethenstraße. The suspect, described as around 175 cm tall, 22 years old, with curly black hair and wearing a black bomber jacket, remains at large.
Earlier that day, two apartments in a Kriftel building were broken into between 4:30 p.m. and 10:25 p.m. Unknown suspects stole cash and gold jewelry worth several thousand euros.
In Flörsheim, a 29-year-old man was assaulted and his phone stolen on Bahnhofstraße at 2:35 a.m. on Saturday, October 18. The suspect's description matches that of the Hofheim assault.
A 40-year-old Uber driver from Frankfurt was robbed in Bad Soden on Friday at 11:50 p.m. Two male passengers assaulted him and stole several hundred euros in cash before fleeing on foot.
Police believe the suspects in these incidents may be connected. One suspect is described as approximately 165 cm tall, around 20 years old, with a stocky build and a southern European appearance. The second suspect is said to be slim, with dark hair styled in an afro and also of southern or Arab descent.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about these incidents or the suspects to come forward. The suspects are considered dangerous and should not be approached. Police are investigating the possibility of a connection between the incidents and are working to identify and apprehend the suspects.
