Hit-and-run leaves cyclist critically injured in Obertshausen-Hausen

A 35-year-old cyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision late on Saturday evening in Obertshausen-Hausen. The incident occurred on Gumbertseestraße, near the Bürgerhaus community centre, when a car struck the woman and fled the scene without stopping.

The crash happened at around 23:35 on 22 November 2025. The cyclist was thrown from her bike after being hit by the vehicle. A witness reported seeing a white carmax speeding away immediately after the impact.

The driver remains unidentified, and police are urging anyone with details to come forward. The damaged Audi, likely a white A3 or A5, is a key focus of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact local authorities immediately.
