Hit-and-Run in Butzbach: Driver Injured, Audi Damaged, Gray Car Flees
A hit-and-run incident in Butzbach has left a blue Audi Q2 damaged and its driver with minor injuries. The culprit, driving a gray compact car with FB license plates, fled the scene. Police are seeking witnesses and information about the Audi car. The accident occurred on Friday, October 23, 2025, at around 9:30 a.m. at the roundabout on Kleeberger Straße. The gray car, with visible damage, collided with the Audi Q2 before speeding off. The impact resulted in €10,000 worth of property damage. In other news, a trailer and an excavator were stolen in Gambach between October 11 and October 22, 2025. The stolen equipment includes an Ifor Williams trailer loaded with a Bobcat excavator and two buckets. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The Münzenberg interchange was closed in the northbound direction during recovery operations following the hit-and-run incident. Police are urging witnesses or anyone with information about the damaged gray compact car with FB plates to contact Butzbach Police Station. The investigation into the theft in Gambach is ongoing.
