The crash happened between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Obertannweg, near Schulstraße. The victim, a 62-year-old man from Hamburg, had parked his Ford Kuga when the unknown driver hit the rear left side of his used car. Instead of stopping, the driver left without reporting the incident.
Police from Polizeistation Hilders confirmed the details but have yet to identify the responsible party. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
