Hit-and-run crash on B 521 leaves two injured and €10K in damages

A serious traffic accident involving three vehicles has closed a section of the B 521 in Langenselbold. The incident, which occurred yesterday afternoon around 7:00 PM, has left two people with minor injuries and caused an estimated €10,000 in property damage. The Mercedes driver involved in the collision is cooperating with police, while the BMW driver fled the scene.

The accident happened between Eichen and Heldenbergen, leading to the full closure of the B 521 from 8:00 PM to 9:10 PM. A 50-year-old Mercedes driver from Nidderau was overtaking a dark BMW, either a 3 Series or 5 Series, and cut back in front of it before colliding with a Volkswagen Golf ahead. The occupants of the Golf, both of whom sustained minor injuries, were taken to a nearby hospital.
