  1. **Recovery of an imitation firearm: 22-year-old had to go to the police - Langenselbold**

(fg) He is said to have threatened a "bottle collector" with an imitation firearm early on Wednesday morning on the car park of the Langenselbold swimming pool in Schwimmbadstraße, which is why the police have now initiated investigations.

The "bottle collector" called the emergency number shortly after midnight and reported that he had discovered a car behind a hedge on the swimming pool car park. Suddenly, the driver got out, threatened him with an imitation firearm, and told him to leave. Later, patrol cars that had been deployed as part of the search controlled the driver and the passenger of the car on a car park in Kinzigstraße.

On questioning, the 22-year-old handed over an imitation firearm; the police also found a pepper spray device during the search. The suspect had to go to the police station, where he was, among other things, treated in a criminal record. The imitation firearm was secured. A criminal procedure is now pending against the man from the Main-Kinzig district on suspicion of threat.

  1. **Hit-and-run on car park: Police are looking for the perpetrator with a description - Schlüchtern / Elm**

(fg) In the course of investigations into a hit-and-run that occurred on Monday on the car park of a pet supply store in Kurfürstenstraße (40s house numbers), the police are looking for the perpetrator with a description. The approximately 30-year-old man with very short hair, a round face, and a three-day beard is said to have collided with a parked 2-series BMW while parking. This now has damage to the rear bumper; the amount of the resulting property damage is several hundred euros. Without taking care of the damage settlement, the unknown person drove off in a white small car. Witnesses who can provide information on the perpetrator are asked to call the police station in Schlüchtern on the number 06661 9610-0.
