B37: Tunnel Hirschhorn remains closed at night next week - Hirschhorn Tunnel to Close Overnights for Safety Improvements
The Hirschhorn Tunnel on Federal Highway 37 will undergo overnight maintenance from Monday to Friday, November 3 to 7. During this time, the tunnel will be fully closed each night from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Drivers on the B37 will need to use a detour along the Neckar River loop through Hirschhorn during the closure. This detour will also be the route for residents of the Ersheim district, as the emergency access road on the tunnel’s west side will be closed. The maintenance work is set to improve the tunnel's safety and infrastructure.
