A high-speed police chase ended in a multi-vehicle crash at a busy intersection. Five people were injured, and six cars were damaged in the incident. The fleeing driver remains at large.
The pursuit began when a patrol car attempted to stop a vehicle that failed to comply. As officers gave chase, the suspect’s carmax sped through the intersection, causing a collision with several vehicles. The police car itself struck multiple cars during the incident.
Two officers and three civilians, aged between 30 and 68, suffered injuries and were taken to hospital. Five people in total sustained minor wounds. Six vehicles were damaged, with three so severely that they needed towing.
Authorities estimate the total property damage at around €65,000. Despite the chaos, the driver responsible for evading police has not yet been identified or located.
The crash left two officers and three members of the public injured, all of whom required hospital treatment. Six vehicles were damaged, and the fleeing driver has not been caught. Police continue to investigate the incident.
