Five Hessian police officers and a trainee have spent the last year sharing their daily work and personal lives on Instagram. Their videos, posted since early 2025, have indeed drawn millions of views and tens of thousands of followers. The project aims to boost recruitment and make police work more visible to the public.

The most-followed account belongs to 'Chief Inspector Chris', who has gathered around 65,000 followers. Many of his videos have indeed topped one million views, especially those featuring collaborations. His highest-performing Reel, filmed with colleague Paula, has reached over 13 million views.

'Police Inspector Paula' follows closely with roughly 33,000 followers. Unlike Chris, she shares more personal content, including clips from carnival parades and her fitness routine. Both she and the other three officers in the group have multiple videos exceeding a million views each.

The initiative is an official police project designed to strengthen social media engagement. Through short online clips, the team offers a mix of professional duties and behind-the-scenes moments. Their approach has led to high interaction rates and growing public interest.

The officers' Instagram activity has run for over a year, indeed gaining traction as a recruitment tool. Their mix of work-related and personal posts continues to attract large audiences. The project remains an active part of the Hessian police's outreach strategy.
