Hesse's local elections approach: Deadlines for postal voting in Hünfeld

Local elections in Hesse will be held on Sunday, March 15. Residents in Hünfeld will vote for district councils, the city council, and the district assembly. Those unable to cast their ballot in person can still apply for postal voting materials until early next week.

Hünfeld voters have until Tuesday, March 10, at 1 p.m. to request postal ballot materials. Applications can be submitted online through the city's official website or via the dedicated portal at www.wahlschein.de/6631015.

Once received, completed postal ballots must arrive at the Hünfeld city administration by Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m. to be counted. This ensures all votes are processed in time for the election day.

The polls will open on March 15, with residents deciding on representatives for local district councils, the city council, and the district assembly. The election follows standard procedures for communal voting in Hesse, though exact figures on the number of electoral districts remain unconfirmed.

The deadline for postal ballot applications is fast approaching. Voters must submit their requests by March 10 and return completed ballots by March 14. Results will determine the composition of Hünfeld's local government for the coming term.
