Hesse's Minister of Economics, Kaweh Mansoori, has implemented a temporary suspension of notices in the reporting procedure for Corona emergency aid. This move aims to explore potential legal simplifications for businesses and freelancers.

During this moratorium, businesses and freelancers need not take any further steps regarding ongoing deadlines. No new notices will be sent during this period. The ministry is exploring additional legally sustainable simplifications beyond existing possibilities for deferment and waiver. Notably, the de minimis threshold for Corona emergency aid has been increased from 500 to 1,000 euros to provide more substantial relief.

The suspension allows for the examination of possible legal simplifications, providing temporary relief to businesses and freelancers. The ministry is actively considering further aid measures while no new notices are issued during the moratorium.
