Head-on Ford crash in Homberg leaves three seriously injured

A severe traffic collision took place in Homberg (Ohm) on Thursday, December 18, 2025, just after 5:20 PM. Three people suffered serious injuries in the crash, which involved two vehicles. Emergency services rushed to the scene to assist those trapped and wounded.

The accident unfolded when an 82-year-old driver from Antrifttal lost control of their Ford. The vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and struck another car head-on. Inside the second vehicle was a 58-year-old woman from Homberg (Ohm), who became trapped and required firefighters to free her.

The investigation into the collision remains ongoing. The three injured individuals continue to receive medical treatment following the accident. Police have urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
