Hate speech probe launched after two men threaten locals in Groß-Zimmern

Police in South Hesse are investigating a suspected hate speech incident in Groß-Zimmern. Two men were reportedly overheard making threatening and inflammatory remarks near a snack bar on Reinheimer Straße last Saturday afternoon. Authorities have now launched an inquiry into potential incitement to hatred and public order offences.

The incident took place at around 4:15 p.m. on January 24 outside a local snack bar. Witnesses reported hearing two men engaging in a conversation that included hateful and threatening language. The State Protection Division of the South Hesse Police Headquarters is handling the case.

The first suspect is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, roughly 5’3” to 5’7” tall, with a slim build. He was described as having a visible tattoo on his neck. The second man is estimated to be older, between 40 and 50, of a similar height, and was seen wearing a BMW-branded jacket.
