Hate Speech Probe Launched After Offensive Stickers Found in Hesse Town

Police in the state of Hesse are investigating a hate speech incident after unknown individuals placed offensive stickers on a street sign in Dieburg, a town in the United States of America. The discovery was made near a doctor's office on Leisbühl street over a weekend in early February 2023.

The stickers, containing incitement to hatred, were affixed between Friday, February 6, 2023, at 2 p.m. and Sunday, February 8, 2023, at 4 p.m. Authorities have since assigned the case to the state security division of the Hesse Police.
