The image shows a bustling market in the old town of Heidelberg, Germany. There are many people walking around, some sitting on benches and some standing, with tents set up around them. On the tables there are baskets of vegetables, and in the background there are buildings with windows, trees, and a clear blue sky.

Hanau's January 31 lineup packs music, carnivals and retro arcade fun

January 31 promises a packed schedule of entertainment across Hanau and its surrounding areas. From live music and carnival celebrations to retro gaming and flea markets, the day offers something for everyone.

Residents can choose between rock concerts, themed parties, or even a chance to relive classic arcade games.

The day kicks off early at Stadthof Hanau, where a Designer & Secondhand Flea Market runs from 10 AM to 3 PM. Later, the same venue hosts HURA (Hanau Retro Arcade), featuring up to 30 original arcade cabinets and classic pinball machines.

Music lovers have multiple options. The Jules Band takes the stage at Brückenkopf at 7 PM. Meanwhile, Rock around the Orient brings Turkish alternative rock to Kult 61 Großauheim at 8 PM. For those who prefer covers, InXtreme performs rock and pop hits at Jazzkeller Hanau from 9 PM.

Carnival fans can pick between three events. Carnevalverein 1983 Mittelbuchen throws a 'Wild Wild West' Carnival Party at 8:01 PM. At 7:01 PM, the 1st Costume Ball of 1st Carnival Society 1891 Klein-Auheim marks 135 years of tradition. Turnverein Kesselstadt 1860 also joins in with an Evening Carnival Session at 7:33 PM, themed 'The Circus Comes to Keschstadt!'

For a different vibe, DJ duo Jacky Green spins tracks at Stadthof Hanau's 'Beats & Bubbles' from 2 PM to 6 PM. Finally, Pioneer Makers hosts Fuckup Nights Hanau #10 at 7 PM, organised by Sonja Schütz from the Institut für produktives Scheitern.

With live performances, carnival festivities, and niche events, January 31 ensures a lively end to the month. Each venue provides distinct experiences, from nostalgic gaming to high-energy concerts. Attendees can plan their day based on interests—whether music, shopping, or themed celebrations.
