Hanau’s 240 Christmas Trees Turn the City Into a Winter Wonderland
Hanau is transforming into a winter wonderland this Advent season. The city is installing over 240 Christmas trees, including two towering firs named 'Little Brother' and 'Little Sister', to create a magical atmosphere for residents and guests.
The Hanau Infrastruktur Service (HIS) is setting up 242 Christmas trees, with 215 smaller trees and 27 larger ones. The smaller trees will be decorated with 100 to 150 LED lights each, adding a warm glow to the city's streets. The centerpiece of Hanau's decorations are the two towering firs, 'Little Brother' and 'Little Sister', which have been sourced from Schotten and will be decorated by HIS employees. These grand trees will stand proudly in front of New Town Hall, creating a festive symbol for the city. In addition to the main trees, each district will receive a traditional Christmas tree to serve as a meeting point for residents.
Mayor Claus Kaminsky looks forward to the festive atmosphere these trees will bring, while Isabelle Hemsley, the city councilor responsible for green spaces, thanks the employees for their dedication in transforming Hanau into a winter wonderland. The city's enchanting atmosphere will recreate the magic of winters past, inviting all to experience the joy of the season.
With over 240 Christmas trees, including the grand 'Little Brother' and 'Little Sister', Hanau is set to become a sparkling winter wonderland. The city's dedication to creating a festive atmosphere promises a memorable Advent season for all.
