Hanau Residents: Free Hazardous Waste Disposal This November
Hanau residents and small businesses can safely dispose of hazardous waste this November. The municipal enterprise Hanau Infrastruktur Service (HIS), led by Markus Henrich, is collaborating with specialists from the Main-Kinzig district to bring a mobile hazardous waste collection vehicle to the city.
The mobile unit will first visit Kesselstadt, Steinheim, and Klein-Auheim on November 5. Residents can drop off household chemicals, solvent-based paints, pesticides, and other hazardous materials free of charge. The service aims to prevent improper disposal of these dangerous substances.
On November 7, the vehicle will be at Wolfgang train station and Birkenhainer Straße. This is part of the city's ongoing waste management initiatives, with HIS playing a key role in ensuring the safe collection and disposal of hazardous waste.
Hanau Infrastruktur Service, under the leadership of Markus Henrich, is committed to providing this essential service to protect the environment and public safety. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this free service on November 5 and 7.
