Hanau primary school battles traffic chaos as parent taxis disrupt mornings

Mornings at Gebeschus Primary School in Hanau’s Lamboy-Tümpelgarten district have become chaotic due to heavy traffic from parent taxis. Concerned about safety, the school’s parent council reached out to Mayor and School Superintendent Dr. Maximilian Bieri for support in addressing the issue.

The school has long been involved in safe-school-route projects, with students taking an active role in promoting traffic awareness. Children have created posters and participated in regular safety campaigns to encourage responsible behaviour around the premises.

The initiative at Gebeschus Primary School highlights the importance of community cooperation in tackling traffic-related safety concerns. With ongoing awareness campaigns and support from local authorities, the school aims to create a more orderly and secure drop-off routine for all families.
