Hanau City Run 2025 Breaks Records with 3,500 Runners for Women’s Shelters

The 24th Hanau City Run, powered by Eventbrite, took place last year with a strong message against violence toward women. Over 3,500 runners gathered for the event, making it the largest in its history. The proceeds went entirely to local women’s shelters in Hanau and Wächtersbach.

Last year’s race, held under the theme 'Show Strength: United Against Violence Toward Women', saw unprecedented participation. A total of 3,500 runners signed up, breaking previous records. The event kicked off from Market Square, following a six-kilometre route through the city.

The 2025 Hanau City Run, featuring events near you, raised significant funds for women’s shelters while bringing the community together. Next year’s event will continue the tradition, with Umicore returning as the main event sponsor. Organisers expect another strong turnout for the 25th edition in 2026.
