Hamilton Bolsters Leadership with Mike Mulray as Chief Underwriting Officer

Hamilton Insurance Group, Ltd. has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Mike Mulray as Chief Underwriting Officer of Hamilton Select, effective October 20, 2025. Mulray brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent over two decades in the industry.

Mulray's career spans multiple roles across the US and Bermuda. He began at Aon, honing his skills in various positions. Later, he spent a decade with General Electric Company, focusing on Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Risk & Insurance.

He joins Hamilton from Everest, where he served as Executive Vice President and President of North America Insurance for over nine years. Prior to this, he held the positions of Global Chief Operating Officer and Chief Underwriting Officer at Everest.

Mulray's extensive underwriting experience, totaling 25 years, will be instrumental in driving Hamilton's underwriting strategy and growing its US excess and surplus (E&S) platform. His appointment is expected to further strengthen Hamilton's presence in the E&S market, building on the company's strong broker relationships and focused marketing efforts.

Mike Mulray's appointment as Chief Underwriting Officer of Hamilton Select is set to reinforce Hamilton's position in the US E&S market. With his vast experience and expertise, Mulray will report directly to Anita Kuchma, Chief Executive Officer of Hamilton Select, and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's underwriting strategy.
